Olivier Ledoit


Olivier Ledoit is Managing Partner at Studdridge International.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, a Master’s Degree in Statistics and Economics from ENSAE in Paris, and a PhD in Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

His academic research has been published in top-tier peer-reviewed journals such as the Annals of Statistics, the Journal of Finance, and the Journal of Political Economy.

He was awarded the Roger F. Murray Prize by the Q Group for his work on large-dimensional covariance matrix estimation.

He has been invited to present his technology for large-dimensional covariance matrix estimation at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Credit Suisse, the University of Zurich, Wharton Business School, HEC Paris, the University of Chicago, the National University of Singapore, Yale, the London Quant Group, Stanford University, and many other institutions – both private and public.
